The SAMFund proudly provides financial assistance to young adults as they move forward with their lives after cancer. We help survivors empower themselves to pursue their educational, professional and personal goals. Grants and scholarships cover a wide rage of post-treatment financial needs, such as (but not limited to): undergraduate & graduate tuition and loans, car and health insurance premiums, rent, utilities, current and residual medical bills, fertility-related expenses, gym memberships and transportation costs. Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 35, finished with active treatment and residents of the United States.
We accept applications once per year, beginning with a Letter of Intent (LOI) phase in June. Anyone interested in applying must first submit an LOI. Information on the LOI process is posted on our website in early June. After a review period, selected applicants are then invited to submit a full application. All applicants will be notified in November as to whether they have received a grant.
We only accept applications once per year.
