PAF Achieves GuideStar’s Platinum Status for 2019

Earning this Independent Seal of Transparency Allows Donors to Focus on Progress and Results

Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) earned the 2019 Platinum GuideStar Nonprofit Profile Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar, the world’s largest source of nonprofit information.

By sharing metrics that highlight progress PAF is making toward its mission, the organization is helping donors better evaluate and compare nonprofits by providing tangible insight into the impact of the organization’s services and interventions.

“We are honored to receive this platinum distinction for the third consecutive year. The qualitative and quantitative data that have been shared on PAF’s GuideStar Nonprofit Profile serve as indicators of how diligently we strive to fulfill our mission and meet the needs of each individual patient we have the privilege to assist,” said Dr. Alan Balch, CEO. “We can now easily share a wealth of up-to-date organizational metrics with our supporters as well as GuideStar’s immense online audience and I encourage interested stakeholders to visit our Nonprofit Profile on GuideStar to see what we’re all about” added Balch.

To reach this level, PAF included extensive information on its GuideStar Profile – including in-depth financial information, qualitative information about goals, strategies, and capabilities, and quantitative information about results and progress toward its mission.
