Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) is a national 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which provides case management services and financial aid to Americans with chronic, life threatening and debilitating illnesses.
In 2022, PAF served a population
of patients with over 1,049 distinct diagnoses.

This scholarship takes immense financial pressure off my family and myself, especially since it is so difficult to work during the school year because of my health issues. This scholarship will also help me pursue unpaid research at my school into diagnosing, treating, and increasing awareness for rare diseases.
