What happens to patient care when equity and inclusion in healthcare are under threat?
Research has made it clear that patients experience better health outcomes, greater satisfaction and stronger trust in their providers when care is culturally responsive and reflects racial, ethnic and language concordance.
Yet we are currently witnessing a troubling trend: shifts in health policy, reduction of funding, limits on research priorities and changes in clinical practices that threaten to dismantle hard-earned gains in health equity.
Woven throughout the summit we will feature short video stories reflecting various perspectives and lived experiences.
